Paraguay-born and Minnesota-raised, Shannon Faulise is an up-and-coming documentary photographer and reporter.

Shannon is currently an intern on the Arts & Culture desk at KQED.

Previous written bylines include The Oaklandside and Redwood City Pulse. Shannon’s photos will soon be published with San Francisco’s Diamond Wave organization, and have previously been published in The Oaklandside and the California Press Foundation Newsletter.

Shannon received her Master’s degree at UC Berkeley’s Graduate School of Journalism in May 2024.
